New England's Premier 10 Piece Funk Experience is back @ the Cannery to groove through 2026 summer. 

Northshore based cover band Sylvia Pearl & the Oysters will be providing a groovy backdrop to Sunday, July 26th!

Crispy Jams to close out the month with 73 Duster’s Cannery return.

The Electric Heaters are a Boston-based instrumental trio that serve up a cinematic blend of "Retro‑sonic Surf Noir"—imagine reverb‑soaked guitar twang meeting spy, soul, spaghetti‑western, and surf vibes. Led by guitarist Matt Heaton, their music evokes moody, groove‑laden soundtracks for imaginary films, with nods to Morricone, Booker T., Link Wray and The Raybeats. Their debut studio album, From the Film of the Same Name, released in 2022, reimagines forgotten ‘60s–‘80s B‑movie themes with a modern twist. The Electric Heaters bring a chilly North Atlantic surf flair that’s dark, dreamy, and undeniably cinematic—all without uttering a word.

Get ready to get down. North of Trouble brings the smoothest rhythms and the deepest grooves to the North Shore and beyond through an electic mix of classic soul, funk and blues.

Album Review: “First of all: PLAY LOUD. Second of all, don’t listen to this collection expecting something either completely serious and conventional or something reputably avant-garde and somewhat boring. This is a curious mix of punk rock conventions yoked to bizarre, Queen-like grandiosity, as on the opening snippet “Dependable.” We return to slightly more familiar territory with the buzzing, synth-slathered opening bars of “Mistake,” which segue neatly into prog-style pomp backed by yobbo-style vocals and furiously churning percussion, all topped by tottering guitars.”
